just a handful of snapshots taken at and around a small concert of the legendary attwenger – taken place on the bisamberg, a hill next to vienna – on the area of the yet obsolete sender – maybe the last time to get that close to it as it’s rumored to be taken down soon..

back in mid august i’ve been down at the far south-east end of nowhere austria, to cover a small but legendary 4X-race for the organizer and a bikeboard report.

as legendary as the race, is the fact that it always rains at this event, heavily – as in floodlike. so it was predicted for this year either, but against all forecasts, after 5 minutes of dripping around noon the day turned to the complete opposite.. still we got our dose of mud after dark, when the after-race party with the fabulous binder-krieglstein on stage took place.

or.. the challenge of doing something different..

yesterday, arena, vienna.. the fabulous dresden dolls.. again. following my pics of krems/donaufestival i got invited to shoot in the arena as well, officially.. which doesn’t necessarily make a difference, but at least one has an armstrap to show if one of the venue’s staff is getting too curious bout a big lens..
