tyler supporting the simple minds

without comments

vienna, gasometer, tyler was supporting the 80’s-legends “the simple minds” today, and all in all it was a bad thing. badly organized (first time for a while i had problems getting in though being accredited), sparsely visited (guess it would have looked sad without the view tyler-fans), and well.. simply had to leave after two tracks of those aged legends that were the main act..

tyler before someone, boys of my age don’t remember

what was this guy’s name?.. wasn’t he in the same “band” as robbie williams? well seriously.. i really don’t remember him, and judging from the little i heard and saw after tyler’s gig i don’t miss anything that way.. biggest part of the audience quite obviously were ex-fans of that boygroup, none of those girls ever had turned on fm4 i guess..

the chicks on speed were kind of headliners for that day, though alec empire played after them. but guess most folks wanting to see the chicks left soon afterwards.. as we did..

all shots taken with 1D”+85/1.2 – my favourite “light concert equipment” – and it really worked out great.. mainly cause of the good lighting system this stage has i guess.

a birthday-party, a birthday-concert, a good bye? nobody knew it back then, but soon afterwards the band started kind of a creative break, not playing together for over a year. anyways, it turned out to be a great concert, a low stage always is good for great pics, and here they are:
